The construction of the high-pressure natural gas pipeline to West Macedonia was completed in December 2025. NDT Metals inspected the project from March 2023.
On the 160 km main pipeline girth welds were inspected with automated ultrasonic testing (AUT). Radiography with X-ray and gamma sources, penetrant, ultrasonic and hardness testing were used on the 5 line valve stations (LVS) and 12 scraper stations (SCS).
