Since May 2025 NDT Metals has been inspecting the high-pressure pipeline from Nea Messimvria to Evzoni / Gevgelija for DESFA S.A.
Girth welds on the 55 km main pipeline are inspected with automated ultrasonic testing, which gives an accept/reject decision within minutes and a full digital record of every weld. Radiography, penetrant, ultrasonic and hardness testing cover the line valve station and the 3 scraper stations.
